According to the requirements of the Office of the Communications Authority, starting immediately, for all outgoing calls made using newly activated prepaid SIM cards (including number portability), mobile service providers will first play a voice prompt stating “來電由新儲值卡打出” before connecting the call. This is to help users increase their awareness of suspicious calls.
